Anita, Master Groomer, Teacher & Assessor

One of the co-owners of the D-O-G Grooming Studios, Anita is one of only 19 Master Groomers in the whole of UK, the highest dog grooming qualification there is. She completed her grooming training back in 2006 and with 18 years of experience as a dog groomer and dog grooming teacher Anita holds City & Guilds Level 3 Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming, The Higher Diploma in Grooming, L.C.G.I in Dog Grooming, City & Guilds 7750/03 in Dog grooming and is a member of the Guild of Master Groomers. Anita is a qualified assessor for the City & Guilds qualifications in dog grooming. She has also completed the Level 3 Award in Education and training (PTLLS) and OCNLR Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy. Anita also has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree.

Over the years Anita has regularly participated in grooming competitions (British Dog Grooming Championships, Premier Groom, Mastergroom, English Groomers Challenge and The Grooming Show) and has won many awards over the past years including a Reserved Best in Show.

Peter, L.C.G.I.

One of the co-owners of the D-O-G Grooming Studio. Peter qualified in 2011 and holds a City & Guilds 7763-03 Level 3 Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming, Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate of Competence in Dog Walking as well as Licentiateship for the City and Guilds Institute (L.C.G.I.). Peter has been teaching dog grooming for the past 8 years and is also a great source of knowledge when it comes to setting up a business from scratch. He is a qualified assessor for the Level 2 and Level 3 City & Guilds dog grooming qualifications. Peter’s experience also includes working with disabled dogs as he had the opportunity to work in a dog hydrotherapy centre.

Lucy, Teacher & Assessor

Lucy trained as a dog groomer in 2016 at the D-O-G Grooming Studio and holds City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. She has been working at D-O-G for the last 8 years and is also teaching alongside Anita and Peter. Lucy is a qualified assessor for the Level 2 and Level 3 City & Guilds dog grooming qualifications. She is an absolutely essential part of the team helping to run day to day schedule smoothly. Lucy has also competed in dog grooming competitions and is always very interested in all the news and trends that are happening in the dog grooming industry.

Holly, Teacher & Assessor

Holly has been grooming since 2019 and is one of former D-O-G students. She has been teaching dog grooming since 2021 and is also a qualified assessors for the Level 2 and Level 3 City & Guilds dog grooming qualifications. She is fantastic at hand scissoring and the art of the Asian Fusion styling is her passion. All dogs leave the D-O-G salons with the cutest teddy bear faces once Holly has worked her magic! Holly is a professionally trained dog groomer and holds City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. She has recently started attending dog grooming competitions and is already hooked!

Alex, Teacher

Alex is also one of the co-owners of D-O-G Grooming Studios, Alex qualified in 2011 and was awarded a City & Guilds Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming and is currently working towards her City & Guilds Higher Diploma in Dog Grooming of which she has already completed several modules with distinctions. Alex also loves competing and over the years has won many awards, she participated in the British Dog Grooming Championships, Premier Groom, Mastergroom and English Groomers Challenge grooming competitions.

Annie May, Teacher

Annie May is a very talented dog groomer and a dog grooming teacher who holds City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Annie May has been grooming since 2020 and already won multiple awards at dog grooming competitions with a hand stripped Fox Terrier. She is a very versatile dog groomer and enjoys both, hand stripping and styling the cutest teddy bear faces.

Jolita, Teacher

Jolita gained her dog grooming qualifications in 2018 and also holds City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Jolita is a perfectionist at what she does, she loves transforming those cute teddy bear faces, she is mastering her Asian Fusion skills which she feels passionate about, but she also very much enjoys hand stripping and and is hoping to own a Border Terrier very soon!
