Our range of dog groomer training courses encompasses six different options - beginning at £100 for the half day taster session through to the full course qualifications ranging between £2300 - £5350.

Dog Grooming Half Day Taster Course cost | £100
If you would like to find out whether dog grooming is for you, we offer a half day taster course with no pressure or commitment to help you find out. The course combines some observation with hands-on experience in a real working salon environment.
The course fee is £100, and takes half a day. Both our Wandsworth Common and Wimbledon Park studios are available from 10:00 to 13:00 Monday to Saturday for this course. For more information, please visit here.
City & Guilds Level 2 cost | £2300
The Level 2 City & Guilds Dog Grooming Course is designed for those wishing to become dog grooming assistants. No previous dog grooming experience is necessary, and you will learn a variety of basic styling techniques.
Throughout the course, you will groom approximately 18 dogs throughout 10 days of in-salon training with 5 days of home study. The course is led by our master groomer with a 1:2 teacher to student ratio.

City & Guilds Level 3 cost | £4350
Open to those who already hold the City & Guilds Level 2, the Level 3 Diploma course will prepare you for work within a dog grooming salon. It is one of the most widely recognised qualifications within the industry.
The Level 3 dog grooming diploma course entails 20 days of hands on salon training plus 8 days of studying at home.
You can secure your place onto the City and Guilds Level 3 dog grooming course to receive your official diploma by completing your salon training at either of our Wandsworth Common and Wimbledon Park locations.
If you're serious about a career in professional dog grooming, whether that's working in an established salon or running your own, this is the qualification that gets you there.

City & Guilds Dog Grooming Level 2 & 3 Combined Training Course cost | £5350
This is a combined course that lets you complete both Level 2 and 3 at the same time. No previous dog grooming experience is necessary, but upon successful completion of required practical, synoptic assignment and theory exam, both qualifications will be awarded.
The combined level 2 & 3 takes a total of 41 days, which combines 28 days of salon training with 13 days of online material provided for studying from home.
Payment plan and pay as you go options are available, and with two London locations and no fixed start dates, the course works around your schedule.

iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management cost | £4350
The iPET Level 3 Diploma is an alternative to the City & Guilds qualifications, and does not include a theory exam. It does however include 3 practical assessments and candidates are continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework.
The course can be completed on either part-time or full time bases. You can do as little as 1 day per week or 6 days.
You will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping, styling and nail trimming on a variety of dog breeds, using different grooming techniques, as well as learning about health and safety in a dog grooming environment.
You can achieve your diploma in the iPet Level 3 dog grooming and salon management course at either of our London salons, depending on which location suits you best.

D-O-G Intensive Course cost | £3600
Our intensive dog grooming course is designed for students looking to enter the world of professional dog grooming without the rigid structure of formal qualifications or examinations.
Throughout the 20 days of hands-on in-salon training, you will groom approximately 40 dogs, learning everything from coat preparation to styling techniques, animal handling to business management.
You will receive the same standard of practical training as our City & Guilds students, taught by the same award-winning team of fully qualified teachers led by our master groomer.
On completion you will receive a D-O-G Grooming Studio Certificate of Attendance, a grooming portfolio of your own work, and access to our after course mentoring. Payment plan and pay as you go options are available for the total course fee of £3600, with two London locations and no fixed start dates.
